Monday July 8

10:00 AM  –  12:00 PM

Monday – Wednesday, July 8 – 10 @ 10 a.m. – noon
Cost: $100 ($80 for M members)
This is a three-day workshop | Ages 4 – 7

Dive into the world of puppets! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to build a fanciful character, or bring found objects and recycled materials to life? This is your chance to build, create and tell stories using the magical art of puppetry. Throughout the workshop, you will explore a new style of puppet-making each day, building a puppet to go along with each style you learn about. Each day will conclude with an opportunity to practice storytelling with your puppets, including an introduction to puppet animation.

Scholarships are available on request for half and full tuition on a first come, first served basis. Classes are free at the M for Native community members. Contact nariza@mmaa.org or call (651) 797-2571 for more information.

WITHDRAWAL & REFUNDS: A full refund is granted if a class is canceled by the museum. A full refund will be issued if requested at least 14 days before the first class. If the refund request is made 13 days or fewer before the first class meets, 50% of the tuition fee will be refunded.
